Checked out a new yarn shop on Fairbanks called “Gabriella’s Yarn Shop.” They carried the typical bright, tacky, shawl and sock yarns. I didn’t even see a lick of bulky yarn and it’s not like anyone was assisting me to find it. The entire time I wandering around, the woman working didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Can’t see myself stopping in for a 2nd visit.
Finally tried the new tea & sandwich shop, Krungthep on Fairbanks this weekend. They had a large selection of teas, small sandwiches, salads, and impressive looking “brick toast” desserts. I tried the one with honey, green tea ice cream, and added strawberries.
Sunday brought more perfect soccer-knitting weather. Still loving my new Field Bag from Fringe Supply Co.
A peek inside my beloved personal size FiloFax Malden organizer in Ochre.
Custom made dividers from Rifle Paper Co. wrapping sheets that I laminated at FedEx Office. “Trombone” shaped paperclips from Michael’s.
Essentials always kept in the zippered pouch: mini nail file, sewing scissors, tweezers, and plastic needle for when you need to weave in those ends in a pinch!
